According to Lebanese Customs, from January to June 2009, China-Lebanon trade was US$ 700 million, up by 17% year-on-year. Lebanon Imports from China amounted to US$ 690 million, up by 21% year-on-year, while exports to China amounted to US$ 11 million, down by 291% year-on-year. Main imports were mechanical and electrical products (US$ 240 million), and main exports were base metal and its products (US$ 900 million).
